Comfortable and elegant. Breakfast/lunch staff was great!
Waitresses during the dinner service were on something
Room was very clean and location in middle of town - easy to walk to everything. Great for a city wit a real shortage of parking.
Dead bolt wasn't keyed so you could only use it when in the room. Security of items left in unoccupied room was questionable - door looked like a ten year old could open it.
It was a really nice hotel with a great location .some of the best food I've had down in eureka springs . the rooms a really nice comfortable beds .
The only problem I had was small showers and door handle to the bathroom door what fall off ever time you shut the door.
Staff was friendly and room was clean.
Need to update tv'S. Rooms could have been better represented on the internet, made out to be nicer than the were. Was upgrade to a suite.
Preservation of its era. Services available. Friendly.
Variability between rooms. Bed too soft. Bathroom tub dangerous due to no anti-skid surface.
History Location One-of-a-kind Great staff
Needs new carpet Updated locks Slow elevator( old , so its understandable)
I booked a suite, got a small cramped room without a shower.Tried on two occasions to change rooms, no luck. Room had no table,no make up area for my wife. Have stayed at the Basin Park on several trips to Eureka Springs, always loved it, never again. The staff had no explanation why I did not get the suite I booked on your web site, they told me they were sold out and this room was the only one available. I checked in on a thursday for three nights, they could have made a change but did not.
location in town was perfect for shopping dining etc
for a hotel of this stature i would expect a complementary breakfast. also i found the decor of the rooms to be very poor. i understand that it is an old hotel and this i aprreciate but the room looked like it had been painted by a colour blind one eyed dwarf (no disrespect intended to dwarfs) you could see where cables had been ripped from the walls but no effort had been made to cover them up after painting had been done. when i first walked into the room i saw antique furniture which is probably older then i am but yet the bedroom was furnished with flat panel tv and modern furniture. for a king suite both my wife and i found this to be very odd. almost like they either ran out of money or effort. also the pictures on the website looked nothing like the room i booked and that was the whole reason i booked the room. if i knew it looked the way it did i would have stayed at a modern day motel which would have been cheaper and provided free breakfast.
The bed was comfortable and when the power was on, the air conditioning worked very well. The breakfast on Saturday was excellent and the servers were friendly and prompt.
The staff were rude and unfocused--even the manager couldn't make a decision. There is no place to store baggage when you check out and want to walk around the town for awhile.
Seriously run-down, slow computer, needs major overhaul. Very noisy on the weekend.
The location was perfect. The staff was great. The rooms were very clean, with comfortable beds. The view from our room was stunning.
There are no vending machines in the hotel. You can purchase drinks and snacks at the front desk. This is a very old, beautiful building and the elevator is very slow. There is a gap, between the bottom of the rooms door and the floor. This limits privacy.
